Gardena Sport line features a new body scale and click-on adjustable dumbbells that bring Gardena’s garden-tool design language into home fitness.

Brand rules

Gardena’s identity is built on clear rules.

Orange marks the parts that move, turn or are pressed. Turquoise picks out the small details, and grey covers the grip areas and most of the body. In 1968, the Original Gardena System made the “click” connection the brand’s signature.

Both products follow these rules. Their shapes are inspired by Gardena’s classic hose connector and water sprayer, small objects that sum up much of the brand.

Dumbbell

The dumbbell gets heavier as you get stronger.

A stainless steel handle with a rubber grip weighs 1 kg on its own. You click 1 kg plates onto each side, up to four per side, to build the weight up to 9 kg.

Click onEach plate locks into the handle with Gardena’s familiar click and is removed with an orange button. The buttons are on the inner side of the plates so they can’t be released by accident.

Scale

Most bathroom scales are made from glass, which is cold.

The Gardena scale is rubberised, so stepping on it feels warm and soft. A raised orange button makes it easy to press with a finger or a toe. Press it once to see your body weight, or twice to see your muscle mass. Pressure-sensitive feet underneath take the measurement.
